Whenever we get stuck in a rut or when we’re off on the wrong path completely, the universe will using various signs to point this out to you. These are hints that maybe you should take a hard look at where you are, what you’re doing, and what you’re going to do about your situation. Here’s 5 signs that you may need to make some life changes:
1. Absolutely everything is harder than it should be. Nothing is easy
There are constant delays, unexpected problems, etc. Every thing you try to do is a monumental effort.
2. You feel like you’re constantly ending up in the same situation
Things that should be straightforward to accomplish, aren’t. You’ll find that you always seem to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. Nothing you do seems to move you forward no matter how hard you try. You are out of sync with everyone and everything.
You try so hard to change things yet the more you try, the more things stay the same. Here’s an example. I hated my job and the people I worked with. So, I thought the answer was to find another job. Within a year, I realized I was in exactly the same position just with a different employer. Jumping to a new job hadn’t been the solution at all. I felt like I had gone in a complete circle and had gotten absolutely nowhere. I was still stuck in a rut. It turns out what I really needed to do was figure out why I was so angry all the time. Once I started to work on that, I was able to finally move forwards in my life.
3. You lack joy, you’re tired, you lack enthusiasm
Deep down you know something isn’t right. Your heart tells you that you’re not in the right place and you’re not going in the right direction. You may feel trapped and hopeless. You may start to feel anxiety about things yet not even really understand why you are feeling the way you do.
4. You worry about everything
You don’t trust things to go right and really with your experiences lately, why should you? You don’t have confidence in your decisions and you’ve lost touch with your inner self.
5. Life just feels like it is a constant struggle
Physically, emotionally, spiritually, and mentally you are drained. You just go through the motions just to make it through the day. You just don’t know what to do anymore.
If the above describes you, then you need to start taking the time to think about your life, who you really are and what you want from life. Otherwise, you will remain constantly spinning your wheels stuck in a rut and going around and around in the same never ending circle slowly dying inside.
