Failure is essentially the end result or outcome of choices that did not work out as planned. It is not the end in and of itself–just the end of trying a particular method in hopes of a particular outcome.  Failure is a natural part of life. You win some…you lose some and the cycle goes on. For some reason, many of us have been conditioned to believe failure translates to “the end” or “loser.” As leaders, we have to redefine failure and how to cope when things don’t go as planned.Failure is simply an opportunity to start anew–a chance to attempt something different. Instead of dwelling on the perceived negative consequences of failure, we need to focus on the lessons we learn after experiencing failure; the growth and maturity that comes as a result of going through tough times and dealing with disappointments.
